The Smaller Picture

This is pretty cool. It tells you something like: The collective consciousness is attempting to create a ……..” and then shows you a pixel and asks you opinion of what color the pixel should be to create the named image. With everyones respone the picture changes, and its quite interesting to see what becomes of a picture.

    WTF!!!! who ever can see cats, birds, castles and swords in all those dots has serious psychological problems…. waste of time!

    i could see them all they wre so ovs i mean they stuck out like a sore thumb if you cant see them then you must be blind

    That’s pretty cool! You’re not supposed to see the images in the dots; you’re supposed to IMAGINE the image overlayed on the grid and decide what color the chosen pixel should be. As shown by the filtered version in the link at the bottom of the page, the average and majority-rules values end up accurately producing the picture, even if the last-changed doesn’t.

    This was extremely dumb. I like to think of myself as having a pretty decent imagination and in this I see nothing. Epic fail.
